As part of the Service Department team at EMCOR Services Northeast in Stoughton, Massachusetts (New England), Peter's responsibilities include being both the Safety Director for the company as well as an Assistant Service Manager. Peter is responsible for the safety and training of the company's employees in the safe work policies and procedures. He also promotes the awareness of safety to all of the employees.
As Assistant Service Manager, Peter helps oversee the day-to-day operations of the Service Department. He assists in dispatching, customer relations, quoting small service projects, payroll authorization and preventative maintenance contract issues. Peter analyzes yearly job costs for each facilities preventative maintenance contract and reviews any issues with the Vice President of Service.
Safety and Service Management Expertise
Peter has been with the company since 1997. He graduated from Worcester’s College of the Holy Cross in 2002 with a bachelor degree in economics. Peter has held numerous positions with the company. Starting as a parts runner in 1997 he moved into the office in 2000 to be a dispatcher for the service department. In 2002, he spent several months as a project manager, but returned to the service department as an assistant service manager in 2003.
Peter has received numerous training for his positions including completion of the MSCA's Service Managers Training Program and OSHA's 501 Trainer Course in Occupational Health Standards for General Industry.
The Personal Side
Peter enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys working on his new home in Weymouth, MA. Peter is an avid golfer and sports enthusiast.
